PSL are proud sponsors of Telford's and England's up and coming Ice Hockey star James Warman.

 

James Warman’s Ice Hockey Career:

 

·        Started skating at 5 years old, and playing ice hockey at 6,

·        Has been playing hockey for 9 seasons,

·        Assistant captain for Telford Rockets Under 16’s

·        Has represented the Midlands regional conference team 4 times,

·        Has played for England national team, for two consecutive seasons (only England teams from Under 13’s up).

·        Played in English National Final Playoffs, twice.

 

1998/9:

·        Started skating,

·        Joined Telford junior ice hockey club.

 

2003/4:

·        Selected for Midlands regional conference team Under 11’s,

·        Winner’s national conference championships.

 

2004/5:

·        Telford Under 12’s runners-up in English national finals,

·        Winners Swindon International tournament,

·        Assistant captain Telford Venom Under 12’s,

·        Runners-up Northern ‘A’ league.

 

2005/6:

·        Selected for Midlands regional conference team Under 13’s,

·        Winner’s national conference championships,

·        Made final trial for England 13’s national team,

·        Assistant captain Telford Under 14’s

·  Won Christmas Cup international tournament in Czech Republic.

 

2006/7:

·        Selected for Midlands regional conference team Under 15’s,

·        Winner’s national conference championships,

·        Selected for England national team Under 14’s,

·        Achieved placement in English ice hockey association school of excellence,

·        Captain Telford Venom Under 14’s,

·        Represented England in tournaments in Canada and Prague,

·        Runners-up in Prague open tournament, Czech, with Midlands,

·        Finish 3rd in Prague open tournament, Czech, with England.

 

2007/8:

·        Selected for Midlands regional conference team Under 15’s,

·        Winner’s national conference championships,

·        Assistant captain for Midlands conference and Telford Rockets,

·        Selected for England national team Under 15’s,

·        Represented England in tournaments in Italy and Germany.

·        Achieved placement in English ice hockey association school of excellence.

·        Runners-up Northern ‘A’ league,

·        Telford under 16’s 3rd place in English national finals,

·        Runners-up Christmas Cup international tournament in Czech Republic,

·        Won Prague open tournament in Czech Republic, with Midlands.

·        Runners-up Como Cup in Italy, with England.

 

Other Awards:

·        Won Best Defender 5 consecutive seasons at Telford,

·        Won Best Defender at Kirkcaldy tournament 2002,

·        Won Managers Player at Telford 2002,

·        Won Supporters Player at Telford 2002,

·        Won Players Player at Telford 2008.

 

Update October 10th 2008:

·        Achieved placement in English Under 16 squad, have had 2 sessions so far,

·        Trialling for Midlands Conference Under 17,

·        Played 2 league games for Telford Under 16, won both,

·        Began training with Telford Tigers senior team.
